Aks Film+Dialogue Festival for Minorities 2014
AKS film+dialogue Festival is a recent initiative launched in 2014 aiming to establish a festival for minorities in Pakistan. The festival’s main focus will be transgenders and sexual minorities. We want to promote awareness, establish dialogue, address human right issues, promote visibility and empower individuals of such minority groups. AKS will engage its audience through films, workshops and performance art events in a way that it challenges them to demand equal rights and opportunities for minorities in Pakistan.
We are currently planning for the festival to launch in two major cities of Pakistan. The official festival dates will soon be announced on this website and Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/aksfestival). Please follow us for up-to-date information.
